WorkSkills

Give your learners an edge -
Turn learners'

work experience skills into a qualification

WorkSkills      If your learners are embarking on work experience, maximise what they get out of it by putting the skills they gain towards a WorkSkills qualification.

WorkSkills helps enhance learners’ employability, encourages career progression and has been designed for delivery in schools, colleges, the workplace and training environments.

Your centre may be delivering part of the qualification already while preparing learners for their work experience, for example Units 26/27 Preparing for / and Learning from Work Placement(highlighted below).

The table below lists Level 2 Units which can be completed around work experience. Learners can choose as many or as few units as is right for them to build a qualification. They can be completed before they go, while they are working and when they come back.

On completion of three credits, learners can gain an Award, or if they choose 13 credits, they get a Certificate – at Level 2. Available at Entry 3, Level 1 and 2, a BTEC in WorkSkills is suitable for all abilities.
