A number of the higher level NVQs are offered as part of a Joint Awarding Body (JAB) Partnership with industry professional bodies, The Chartered Institute of Building (CIOB) and the Institution of Civil Engineers (ICE) for whom the NVQs are steps to professional recognition.
These include the Construction Site Supervision / Site Management / Contracting suites at Levels 3 and 4 and the range of occupational pathways in the Built Environment NVQs at Levels 3, 4 and 5.
Edexcel has also been accredited to offer the Level 5 NVQ in Construction Senior Management since 1 June 2009. This has replaced the Level 5 NVQs in Construction Project Management and Construction Management. |
