Helping students fulfil their potential
Introduced in 2004, the Mathematics specification is now being reissued for first teaching in September 2008. The new specification will provide greater flexibility with the aim of creating a positive learning environment. We hope this will enable teachers to adapt to students’ needs and help them fulfil their potential. The amendments affect Further Pure Mathematics units and Decision Mathematics units.
The updated Further Pure Mathematics units allow more flexibility for students choosing to study Further Mathematics AS and A2, while the amended Decision Mathematics units balances out the content between the two units. There are no changes to any other units in Core, Statistics or Mechanics units.
The Mathematics e-Spec combines the specification, SAMs and other materials in an easy-to-use interactive electronic package. View the e-SpecDownload the e-Spec to your PCDownload the e-Spec to your Mac
