Help EAL students gain a qualification in English and raise their attainment across all subjects.

By improving their English skills at school, students whose first language is not English stand a much better chance of achieving better all-round results.  

ESOL for Schools from Edexcel allows you to gain SCAAT points for your school, as well as building the confidence of your 14+ and 16+ students to progress into employment and further study.

ESOL for Schools is available for 14+ students at Entry 1-3, and at Levels 1 and 2.

Unit 3 (Reading) at Levels 1 and 2 of ESOL for Schools is assessed using the National Adult Literacy test.

New ESOL speaking and listening standardisation material is also available for you to use. The Skills for Life team has put together a small sample of recordings using Edexcel's practice tests, sets 1 and 2. Each recording can be played while you consider the assessed paper, its mark scheme and the Lead Verifier's commentary.
