We aim to support and attend a number of key annual events, including:

Association of Colleges Annual (AoC) Conference
Next event: 17-19 November 2009
The International Conference Centre (ICC) is, once again, home to the AoC Conference, which Edexcel has supported in a number of ways over the past few years. This is a crucial networking and update event, picking out the issues facing colleges in the changing landscape of further education. We hope to yet again offer some real value this year at the conference, with some interesting and thought-provoking additions to the programme.

Association of Science Education (ASE) Annual Conference
Next event: 7-9 January 2010
This January, ASE kicks off the new year with a three-day conference for science teachers and heads of department. We regularly contribute to the conference programme with a series of seminars and are working hard on a refreshing and exciting proposal for 2010.

BETT Education and Technology Show
Next event: 13-16 January 2010
Fast on the heels of ASE in January, comes the largest education technology event in the world, for both UK and international education providers. We have exhibited with our sister companies in Pearson for the past few years, offering visitors a comprehensive choice of resources, assessment and accreditation, management systems and learning platforms. 2010 looks set to be the best yet and is one not to be missed.

Specialist Schools and Academies Trust (SSAT) Annual Conference
Next event: 26-27 November 2009
This November conference is key for its wide range of SSAT delegate members and Edexcel, to ensure that we keep visitors up to date with 14-19 plans and ensure we support our customers through the changes. We will be exhibiting again this year and look forward to meeting you there.

What else do we do?

Award Ceremonies
Each year, we support a range of award ceremonies, such as Go Skills Transport Awards, National Training Awards and local awards such as the Mid Kent College Staff Awards.

Exhibitions
In addition to the regular annual conferences, we attend regional and national exhibitions to support our customers, e.g. The Language Show and the International Security and Resilience Event.

Edexcel Events
Naturally, we also run our own events, such as launches and briefings. During 2009, we have run events focusing on the Foundation Learning Tier Launch Events, BTEC update briefings and GCSE 2010 Launches.
