The latest finding from Eurydice regarding EU education policy is that quality assurance is more important than ever, with the majority of schools in Europe now externally assessed on student performance. Other findings include greater support for teachers and more focus on continuous professional development. Conversely, students graduating in education and training have fallen, apparently showing a lack of interest in teaching from the younger generations.
